Zenk is a New Traditional tattoo artist with 12 years of experience, working at the intersection of bold Western illustration and the sacred geometric legacy of ancient Thai Sak Yant. Every piece is built to last: strong outlines, rich colour fills, and compositions that carry real weight.

Rooted in Southeast Asian iconography, nagas, garudas, yantras and lotus mandalas, Zenk brings quiet intention to every design. The imagery honours living tradition while the execution is entirely his own.

Based in Phichit and available to travel across Thailand for the right project. All work is by appointment. Consultations are always free.

Zenk speaks conversational English, takes hygiene and aftercare seriously, and never rushes the design process. If you are new to tattooing or travelling through Thailand looking for a meaningful piece, you are in good hands.

Sacred Origins

The Art of
Sak Yant

Over 2,000 years old, Sak Yant is not mere decoration. It is protection, invocation, and identity made permanent.

Khmer roots, c. 200 CE

Sak Yant originated in the ancient Khmer and Mon kingdoms. Warrior monks tattooed sacred Pali script onto soldiers, believing the geometric yantra patterns would deflect blades and grant supernatural strength.

The Five Sacred Lines

Ha Taew, five rows of ancient Pali script, is the most iconic of all Sak Yant designs. Each row carries a different blessing: luck, protection from evil, love, good fortune, and charisma. Famously worn by Angelina Jolie.

New Traditional evolution

New Traditional tattooing takes classical iconography, bold outlines, limited shading, strong silhouettes, and pushes it with expanded colour palettes and illustrative depth. It is the natural language for Sak Yant-inspired work.
